919 – Battle of Islandbridge

After the battle of Mag Femen, Sitric, the Viking chieftain re-established himself as king of Dublin. Two years later, however, the Irish clans created a new alliance to drive the Vikings from Dublin. The Irish were soundly defeated and six kings left dead on the battlefield including High King Niall Glún-dubh.
