1095 – Death of Olaf Hunger

Just nine years after his coronation, Olaf Hunger died after a troublesome reign with poor harvests resulting in hunger among his people, that earned him his nickname ‘Hunger’. There is much speculation about his death and no one really knows what happened. He died without an heir.
