929 – Death of ├ćlfthryth of Wessex

├ćlfthryth was a daughter of Alfred the Great and Countess of Flanders after her marriage to Baldwin II. After her death she was buried, per her wishes, beside her husband in St. Peter’s Abbey in Ghent, Belgium.
