The Electronic Sawyer is the online edition of professor Peter Sawyer’s bibliography from 1968. It contains information on Anglo-Saxon charters between 604 CE until the life of Edward the Confessor (who died in 1066). The Department of Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic at Cambridge University maintains its contents. The Centre for Computing in the Humanities, King’s College London, provides the technical upkeep. They released the first test version in 2007 and the official launch was three years later. It is not clear if there are still updates.
