What are the chances, that you are living in Norway, decide to renovate your house, and then discover there’s a Viking Age grave underneath your bedroom?
This happened to a family who wanted to refurbish their home built in 1914. They discovered an axe and a glass bead, too. The next day, archaeologists from the Tromsø museum arrived the next day and confirmed the discovery. The axe probably dates to around 950-1050.
